Guidelines
To ensure a professional and productive conference experience, all delegates participating in DiplomatX Model United Nations 2026 are expected to adhere to the following guidelines throughout the conference.
Dress Code
All delegates are required to wear formal attire on both days of the conference.
For Boys
Appropriate formal attire includes:
Blazers or formal suits
Formal shirts
Ties (recommended)
Formal trousers
Formal shoes
Casual clothing such as hoodies, jeans, sneakers, or informal footwear is strictly not permitted during committee sessions.
For Girls
Appropriate formal attire includes:
Blazers or formal suits
Formal shirts or blouses
Formal trousers
Formal shoes
Skirts are not permitted as part of the dress code. Delegates are expected to maintain formal and professional attire throughout the conference.
Delegate Identification
Each delegate will be provided with an official conference ID card during registration.
The ID card must be worn at all times throughout the conference.
Delegates without visible ID cards may not be permitted to enter committee rooms or access conference areas.
Code of Conduct
Delegates are expected to maintain a high level of discipline, professionalism, and respect throughout the conference.
Participants must:
Maintain diplomatic and respectful language during debates
Show respect towards fellow delegates, chairs, and the Secretariat
Follow all instructions given by the Executive Board and organizing team
Any form of misconduct, disruption of proceedings, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Eligibility
DiplomatX Model United Nations 2026 is open to students from Grade 9 to College 2nd Year who have an interest in diplomacy, debate, and global affairs. Participants are expected to actively engage in committee discussions and maintain professionalism throughout the conference.
Punctuality
Delegates must report to their respective committee rooms on time for all sessions. Late entry may disrupt proceedings and may be restricted by the dais.
Electronic Devices
Laptops and electronic devices may be used for research and note-taking during committee sessions unless instructed otherwise by the Executive Board.
Queries and Assistance
In case of any queries or concerns during the conference, delegates are advised to contact the Delegate Affairs team.
The team will be available throughout the conference to assist participants with any issues or clarifications.
